intermediate trumpet brand help?

I’m thinking about getting a “step up”/ intermediate trumpet? I’m in the eight grade right now, and I was thinking about Yamaha or Bach? any other suggestions would be appreciated! pros and cons would be nice too

Mostly, It depends on your preference.

I myself use a Bach Stradivarius (I like the 37 model, you might have a different preference), I got it my 8th grade year and it’s an excellent trumpet, it should last you through high school; but it’s a professional horn. I personally don’t like Yamaha, they’re excellent horns, it depends on what you want.

You might want to look at other brands, just be sure to stay away from brands you’ve never heard of, they’re probably garbage(i.e Jupiter, Jean Baptiste aren’t very good either.)
