Small Zildjian A Custom Cracks?

I just got a 16″ Zildjian A Custom Projection crash cymbal a few weeks ago, around Christmas time. When I got it, I was told that it was for heavy hitters, and that I shouldn’t be afraid to hit it hard, It would last for a while.
Well, a few weeks later and I noticed a small (1-1.5 cm) crack developing, and I know how these things grow. I can’t afford to buy a new cymbal now, especially not a Zildjian quality cymbal. Does anybody know any way to stop the crack from spreading?

sorry, i don’t think you can. try going to a local music shop for advice. Maybe cymbal care products or hit it in a different place. or hit softer. would you advise me to get A customs or K customs or z customs for hard hitting.
